The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) is set to host an event titled ‘Promoting Smallholder Projects for Net-Zero and Beyond’ on 18 November 2025, on the sidelines of UNFCCC COP30 in Belém, Brazil.

The event supported by the International Rubber Research Development Board (IRRDB) and co-hosted by the American Forest Foundation will put focus on natural rubber, which is more than just a raw material – it's a climate solution. As a sustainable polymer derived from tree latex, natural rubber supports over 40 million dependent people, including 85 percent smallholders, and contributes to:

✅ Forest stewardship & biodiversity
✅ Bioenergy & circular economy
