TVS Srichakra, a manufacturer and exporter of two, three-wheeler and off-highway tyres, has exhibited its new products at ‘The Tire’, one of Europe’s most notable trade shows. The show, which started on Tuesday, is scheduled to close on Thursday in Cologne, Germany.

TVS Eurogrip said in a statement that it has been present in most prestigious trade shows across the world, showcasing its best-in-class products at various global platforms. It said Europe is of greater significance as the brand has a direct presence in Milan, Italy (with its international product development centre at Milan) and all the countries across the continent are important markets with good potential for both two-wheeler and off-highway range.

From the two-wheeler segment, BEE Range (City, Sport, Easy, Connect & Moving) were on display alongside Duratrail EB+, Climber XC, Roadhound, Beamer HS+ and Beamer YS+. Some of these products are designed for off-road activities, while some are street tyres for medium and big displacement motorcycles, the release pointed out.

‘E-Torq’ for Electric two wheelers is a key highlight in the stand, especially as ‘The Tire’, in this edition focuses on the growing demands for greater sustainability, it said.

The off-highway tyres that have been on display include a range of Agri Radials, and select products from Flotation, Construction & Industrial segments. OHT is a focus area and is well augmented by the company’s increase in production capacity, it said. This has strengthened manufacturing capabilities catering to the growing domestic and global demand for the coming years.

New sizes available in the Implements and flotation segments are some of the prominent displays at the show.

The Tire is one of the leading tyre and wheel industry events in Europe. The biennial trade show’s 2022 edition is happening at a juncture when the world and the industry are coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic. Around 300 companies and brands from 35 countries are showcasing their products and services at the event, the release added.

Chinese tyre major Linglong Tire was recently recognised as one of the Best Managed Companies in China in an event joint held by Deloitte China, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) Business School and the Harvard Business Review.

The tyre maker was recognised for its capabilities in the areas of strategic leadership, operational efficiency, integrated management and sustainable growth at the annual event.

Linglong Tire stated that the Best Managed Companies program is a globally recognised initiative under the guidance of Deloitte is said to be the only international award in China for the comprehensive evaluation of enterprise management systems.

The award in its 7^th year saw potential companies evaluated on the bases of complex management questions, executive interviews and neutral expert assessments based on Deloitte’s global program. The companies were assessed on four criteria – strategy, expertise, commitment and financial strength.

Hankook Tire Hungary Ltd received the ‘Key Supporter of Saint Pantaleon Hospital’ award during the hospital's Semmelweis Day ceremony in Dunaújváros, Hungary. This recognition highlights the company's longstanding commitment to enhancing local healthcare quality through consistent contributions.
